State-Certified Technician / Bachelor Professional

Specialization in mill construction plus cereals and feedstuff technology

The DMSB trains “State-Certified Technicians” or “Bachelor Professionals” in the disciplines of mill construction plus cereals and feedstuff technology with a major in milling-related process engineering. A supplementary specialism in milling-related plant engineering is also offered. Most students choose both options to enhance their chances in the employment market after they graduate.

This advanced training course takes two years full-time. If students have a  relevant qualification, e.g. a degree in mechanical engineering, food technology or a related field, these qualifications can be treated as credits following an individual consultation.

Your curriculum

The DMSB offers advanced training that includes state-of-the-art equipment, a well thought-out concept and application-focused courses. One of the main reasons for this is the close interaction between the business and science communities and the DMSB. The focus is on practical relevance and experienced practitioners ensure that the school also keeps up to date in terms of equipment.
